臺灣是一個激發靈感、匯流創意的寶島。作曲家鮑元愷歷時12年創作而成的《臺灣音畫》，以深度采風及宏觀視角描繪臺灣的風土人文，臺北市立國樂團特別委託作曲家孫光軍改編成國樂版本，以傳統美學及色彩重新詮釋這部鉅作。
成立37年的北市國，正值默契絕佳、技巧洗練的輕熟之齡，在指揮鄭立彬的帶領下，以充滿熱情活力及深刻情感演繹這部8樂章的大型作品，以音樂訴說對這塊土地的愛，留住屬於你我的臺灣印象。
Taiwan is a source of inspiration, a confluence of creative energies. Sketches of Taiwan depicts the land and the humanity of this island, Taiwan, with a particularly cutting sensitivity and grand vision. It is the crystallization of 12 years of work from the composer BAO Yuankai. To ensure that it delights later generations as it did the old, the Taipei Chinese Orchestra (TCO) commissioned composer SUN Guangjun to rearrange “Sketches” in the style of Chinese National Music, and thus give a new life and meaning to its traditional beauty and color. Having just recently marked its 37th anniversary, the TCO is now at the peak of its craft, operating with the precision and harmony of a fine-tuned machine. Under the leadership of its conductor CHENG Li-Ping, the TCO now gives a rich and deep-cutting emotional performance of this monumental eight-movement work. Share in the love for the land of Taiwan expressed through music.
臺灣音畫 創作緣由
《臺灣音畫》完成於1999年，2000年2月27日由美國指揮家亨利．梅哲指揮台北愛樂管弦樂團首演。這部由〈玉山日出〉、〈安平懷古〉、〈宜蘭童謠〉、〈恒春鄉愁〉、〈泰雅情歌〉、〈鹿港廟會〉、〈龍山晚鐘〉、〈達邦節日〉等8 個樂章組成的交響曲，描繪了臺灣的民風民情，展現了臺灣的鄉土鄉音，表達作曲家鮑元愷先生在臺灣的所見所聞，帶著寶島特有的濕潤與溫暖，以樂觀的胸懷為這個正在迅速改變的時代留下美好壯麗的畫影，用溫馨的旋律留下語言無法表達的刻骨記憶與深切眷戀。
《臺灣音畫》是一部原創與改編相結合、抒情與寫景相結合、本土與國際相結合的交響樂作品。依照傳統的交響曲結構，全曲分為4 個部分：第一、二樂章，壯美恢弘的慢板，從寫景到懷古，為第一部分「起」；第三、四、五、六樂章，依快–慢–快三部結構組成的以臺灣民間音樂為基調的民族色彩樂曲，為第二部分「承」；第七樂章，靜謐安詳的慢板，為第三部分「轉」；第八樂章，粗獷豪放的快板，終曲，為第四部分「合」。2016 年，《臺灣音畫》由臺北市立國樂團委託孫光軍先生改編為國樂版。
